Sergeant at Arms
Jeff Jolicoeur was our Sergeant of Arms today. Thanks, Jeff!!!
Greeter
Matt Clark served as Greeter today! Thanks, Matt!!
50/50 Tickets
===========
Scott Bullock sold $112 worth of 50/50 tickets. Sue Guigere won $56 with #0058968. Sue will sell tickets in next week. Don Plourde won 10 free tickets to the next 50/50 drawing. Marc Pitman will be our Greeter for next week's meeting on March 30 th.
World Service Cups
================
The World Service cups will support the village of Los Naranjos, Honduras where Alice Anderman travelled to after the holidays. She will be returning in November and it's hoped the club will send supplies with her for the villagers in need. Chris Gaunce indicated that the box we have set aside for these items is filling up and encouraged club members to remember that it's there when they bring back the shampoos and toiletries from hotels, etc.

Cliff Hannan joined us from the Sunrise Club.
Sue Guigere introduced Belinda Harbouch who is transferring in from the Skowhegan Club due to a transfer to Waterville with Key Bank.
Happy Dollars
Nancy Gallagher is happy to be back from some time away visiting warmer climates! She and Mike left in January and are glad to be back.
Suzanne Uhl-Melanson has been on leave and is glad to be back. She shared that she will be on the program for Inland Hospital's Women's Wellness Fair and is going to be presenting information to help women gear up for financial fitness .
Sarah Sugden had 10 Happy Dollars .... $1 for Cliff Hannan who will be the Assistant to the District Governor for the next 3 years; $1 for her husband who did a great job taking care of the kids while she was gone over the week end at PETS; and $7 for the great experience at PETS, which has allowed her to think of rotary in a whole new way. Sarah shared how remarkable it is to be part of an organization of more than a million people making life better in the world. Her last $1 was for the great brainstorming that took place on the ride hoe ... be on the look out for some interesting things to happen next year!
Janet Parkhurst had a couple of Happy Dollars to share. The first was for a comment she received after telling a recruiter from the Augusta Club that she already belonged to our club ... specifically: "Are they the ones who sing??" You betcha! The second was for her housekeeper, who asked that Janet donate a day's pay to Rotary for our Honduras Project. Thanks Janet!
Seth Sherwood had 3 Canadian dollars for the 300 miles to and from St. George over the week end. Seth also wanted the group to know how easy it is to propose new members .. Simply going on line and downloading a proposal form. As we close in on the end of the Club Year, he encouraged all of those present to think of a person to nominate.
Frank Prelgovisk shared ten Happy Dollars for the Swimmer of the Year honor that his granddaughter, a freshman at Messalonskee, received over the week end. Needless to say, the whole family is very proud of her achievement. Congrats Frank!
Marc Pitman was happy for the assistance he received in putting out the card for the Women's Wellness Progam.
Kim Lindlof had a happy dollar for the anticipated assistance she asked the members present for in getting any pictures club members might have of fellow Rotarian Eric Haley, who is going to be honored by the Chamber as Professional of the Year. They are developing a slide show and any photos would be greatly appreciated!
Cliff Hannan had 2 loonies and $1, sharing that it's been great working with his fellow Rotarians getting ready for his new assignment. Cliff is looking forward to filling Chris's shoes over the next 3 years!
Bill Thompson shared that their son recently transferred to Ohio University from UMA. He also noted that he and his wife just returned from a regional Salvation Army Conference where they were recognized for achieving a 5 Year milestone for being in Waterville. The good news is that from all indications, their assignment here will be continuing.
Lucille Zelenkewich is very happy that the snowmobile season is finally over and that she's heading to Florida for 3 weeks.

Youth Empowerment through Employment
YETE is well under way. Ally reminds Club members to speak about your vocation or a key work ethic component for the YETE weekly half hour class, and/or to host an internship (paid for by the YETE program.)
Community Service Donations
Thus far we have contributed to Waterville Opera House, Keeping Mid-Maine Warm, YETE, Habitat for Humanity, Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter, food pantry, school supplies, and scholarships and camperships.
International Service Donations
International contributions thus far include WISE Zambia, African Orphans, Safe Passage (District project),
Foundation
This is a record year, with over $15,000 raised through Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY).
Public Relations and Marketing
Our club now hosts a new, expanded website, thanks in large part to the efforts of Cathy Langlais. Additional PR efforts include radio PSAs, a newsletter, newspaper articles and periodic media coverage of speakers.
