Goodwill Hinckley - Maine Academy of Natural Science

Today the club was hosted by Glen Cummings and the Maine Academy of Natural Science (MEANS) at the Goodwill-Hinckley campus in Fairfield. Lunch included a variety of home-grown vegetables and herbs that were harvested this morning - and it was delicious. We were given a tour of the campus and were able to see the new greenhouses in action. The school is close to raising the funds needed to renovate one of the historical buildings on campus, which will provide needed space for the growing student population.
