BOD announce PHF 1:1 match
We just received news that as a result of changes that the Rotary Foundation is making, the club will not be able to offer the same matching program in the future.
So, retroactive to July 1, 2008, the Waterville Rotary Club will be matching each contribution to the Annual Giving Fund (EREY) dollar for dollar.
Exciting News! We have just been told that for every contribution to the Rotary Foundation EREY/Annual Giving Fund that you make you will receive a dollar for dollar match for every contribution this year.
Due to the fact that we have to use these points up by June 30, 2009, the club has decided to do a 1 for 1 match on all dollars collected from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009. Here is an example of how it works if you donate two $100.00 donations during the year:
PHF Points for 2008
Cash Contribution $100
Waterville Match Points 100
2nd Cash Contribution $100
Waterville Match Points 100
Total 2008 - 2009 PHF points $400
Many of you have already received a Paul Harris Fellow and are working towards a second or third. We appreciate your support! Now is the time to add another one, or to take your sustaining contribution to the next level.

Please log on to www.rotary.org and click on the Contribute link, and enter your email address/password. It is very easy and well worth the time.
This also helps us the club meet our Every Rotarian Every Year fund raising goal. As you know, we have an $11,000 goal for this year. We are almost 75% of the way there!
