Frank Prelgovisk also sold $136 for the 50/50 raffle today and Matt Clark was the winner of $68. Matt will sell tickets again on July 26th. Gene Beaupre won 10 free tickets for next week's meeting's 50/50 drawing.

The beneficiary of donations for this month's World Service Cup is still being determined.

Happy Dollars

Seth offered a Happy Dollar for some neat things their baby did over the past week.

Steve introduced his son, Tom, and Natasha Knight who are co-producing and starring in a two person musical, "The last Five Years" in the Studio Theater of the Waterville Opera House. The show will occur on August 5-8 and again on August 12-15. After performing a duet from the show, they raffled off 2 tickets, which were won by Gene Beaupre.

Butch Merritt welcomed Natasha to the Club, noting that she was the 1st runner-up in the Miss Maine Pageant in June, uses her singing gifts at his church in Oakland. Butch also shared that his niece and grand daughter were visiting Bar harbor this week end and that unfortunately, President Obama was a "no-show" at their cook-out.

Suzanne Uhl-Melanson shared that we need more of our youth coming to Rotary to sing at our meetings. Suzanne also shared that she and her husband are back from Quebec City. They had a great time and heard many free concerts that occur during the summer. She noted that Jane and Barry Wherren will be up there visiting them in Quebec on August 6th and invited their friends to come up and visit if they can..

Seth shared that the Committee sign up sheets are on the tables and requested club members to sign up for one that interests them for the upcoming year.

There will be a District Governor visit in 2 weeks. Please plan to attend.

Doug Carnrick shared information about this year's RYLA nomination process and encouraged that members who are aware of qualified individuals in the 21 to 35 year old age group to submit nominations to the Board for consideration. He noted that nopminations are due in on August 2nd.
