Ken Vlodek shared that the Yardgoods Center has been celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year and the official date was December 8th. This was particularly memorable because his Mom was present and had an opportunity to see many of her friends who came in to visit.
Nikki Desjardins thanked the membership for their support of the project to support this Christmas the 2 families effected by domestic violence. (Congrat on your hard work in this effort Nikki!).
Sarah had several Happy Dollars .... 1) for the social/fellowshio event at Cacciatore's last week with the KV Connect group. It was a great opportunity to meet new people (and potential candidates for membership!); 2) For Marc Pitman getting a substitute for him because he will be unable to substitute for her at bell-ringing this week; 3) for the decision they made about not getting a remote controlled dinosaur this year and a reflection on life lessons that parents struggle with; and for the heat at the Library that will be coming up at 5:00PM today.
