Proceeds from this year's Radio Auction to benefit Teen Parent Program at Maine Children's Home

This year the Waterville Rotary Club's cause is the Teen Parent Program at The Maine Children's Home. We have set a goal to raise $18,000 for this cause with our 2019 Rotary Auction to be held on Tuesday, November 27th and Wednesday, November 28th -- our fifty-fourth year holding the auction!

As you can imagine, after fifty years or so it's time to shake things up. That's why the auction is now held online (easier for us to manage and for people to bid) and why we're also switching up how we manage the process internally.

Our Club president, Jen Olsen, asks that all Rotarians in the Club get involved this year. Some of us have access to business owners whom we can approach, while others of us have the ability to donate, purchase, solicit or otherwise acquire goods and services that the wider community can enjoy. What is most important to her is that ALL club members find a way to participate in the way that is meaningful for them.

You'll be hearing much more about the auction as the dates approach - contact Buffy Higgins or Adrienne Lovejoy to get involved today! You can also use this handy donation form to approach area businesses for donations, just make sure they haven't been approached by a Rotarian already -- check with Buffy or Adrienne first.

Thank you Rotarians for your service and for making our 54th Waterville Rotary Club Auction the best yet!
